Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help shape the data ecosystem. You will build, maintain, and enhance our cloud data platform across AWS and GCP, enabling scalable and secure data solutions for the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Experience with modern DevOps, cloud tech (AWS and GCP), Docker, Terraform.
• Expertise with BigQuery, security, performance, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Data Platform infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including data lakes, data warehouses, orchestration, and observability components.
• Enhance the platform with new features and services, improve monitoring, and automate tasks.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD-driven deployment processes to improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to support and evolve the MLOps Platform.
• Manage and optimize the data estate, including IAM, storage, monitoring, and cost control.
• Design and implement secure, compliant data infrastructure solutions.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, security, and efficiency across cloud environments.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities meeting needs.
• Contribute to engineering practices: code reviews, CI/CD, IaC, and governance.
