Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data platforms for analytics across a global business. You will contribute to a modern data platform enabling data-driven decisions in pharmaceutical contexts and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include building pipelines with Python, leveraging AWS data services, and supporting migrations and integrations across environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices.
• Advanced level of English.

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
