Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for a global pharmaceutical project. You will contribute to a modern data platform used across markets, enabling data-driven decision making and analytics.

Key activities include developing data pipelines with Python, collaborating with agile teams, and supporting migrations and integrations across evolving environments. Strong AWS experience and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills including object-oriented programming and Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data solutions.
• Experience in Agile teams and modern software development practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform for analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python and OO principles.
• Build reliable, maintainable data pipelines and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements and integrations across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processing pipelines.
