Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. in Bydgoszcz is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms for the pharmaceutical sector. You will contribute to a global data platform, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across markets.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, implementing scalable solutions with Python and AWS, and collaborating with agile teams to deliver high-quality data products. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills with OO, design patterns and data processing.
• Hands-on AWS experience including Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Cloud-based architectures and scalable data solutions understanding.
• Experience in Agile teams and modern software practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
