Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a pharmaceutical project. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that enable advanced analytics and informed decisions across markets.

You will work with Python, AWS, and OO design, collaborating with agile teams to support migrations, enhancements, and integrations while delivering high‑quality data solutions for a global context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills, including object‑oriented programming and Pandas data processing.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data‑driven analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following OO design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
