Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions supporting advanced analytics across a global business. You will contribute to a modern data platform used across diverse markets, enabling data-driven decision making and reliable pipelines.

You will collaborate with agile teams, implement Python-based data processing, and leverage AWS services to build robust, maintainable data infrastructure on real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills including object-oriented programming and Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data solutions.
• Experience in Agile teams and modern software development practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Python.
• Build reliable, maintainable data pipelines following OOP principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data pipelines.
