Job summary

Skyways Technics Poland is seeking a skilled Composite Certifying Staff to perform, inspect, and certify composite repair activities on aircraft components and flight controls in the component repair workshop. The role emphasizes hands-on work and technical guidance within the certifying staff authorization framework under Part-145.

You will ensure use of approved maintenance data, perform required inspections, issue release documentation, and maintain traceability of materials while supporting

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational education in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
• Advanced training in aircraft composite repair techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of composite repair processes, bonding techniques, honeycomb structures, vacuum bagging, curing processes, and structural repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret CMM, SRM, Engineering Orders, OEM repair instructions, and other approved docs.
• Good understanding of Part-145 requirements and certifying staff responsibilities.
• 5+ years of practical aircraft composite repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite repair activities on aircraft components and flight controls per approved data and procedures.
• Inspect work to ensure conformity with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Certify maintenance activities within authorized scope.
• Issue or support release documentation in line with Part-145 and procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed, inspected, and documented before certification.
• Verify latest maintenance data (CMM, SRM, OEM docs) is used.
• Coordinate with Technical Services on damage assessments and repair schemes.
• Provide technical guidance to Composite Technicians during complex repairs.
• Assist Shop Supervisor in addressing engineering issues and risks affecting production.
• Maintain proper handling and traceability of composite materials and tools.
