Job summary

Skyways Technics Poland component repair workshop seeks a Sheet Metal Certifying Staff to perform, inspect, and certify sheet metal repairs on aircraft components and flight controls in strict compliance with approved maintenance data and Part-145 requirements.

The role maintains a hands-on presence in the workshop, providing technical guidance to sheet metal technicians while ensuring documentation is complete and accurate for certification and audits.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational education in aircraft maintenance, aircraft structures, sheet metal work, mechanical engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Relevant aircraft structural and sheet metal repair training.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal and structural repair techniques.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret CMMs, SRMs, Engineering Orders, technical drawings, OEM repair instructions, and other approved maintenance data.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal and structural repairs on aircraft components and flight controls in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
• Inspect maintenance and repair work in the Sheet Metal Workshop and ensure conformity with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Certify maintenance activities within the scope and limitations of the company-issued certifying staff authorization.
• Issue or support the issuance of the applicable release documentation in accordance with Part-145 requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed, inspected, and documented before certification.
• Verify maintenance data and documentation are current and applicable.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to sheet metal technicians during complex repairs.
• Support training and development of sheet metal technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve repair quality, productivity, and turnaround time.
