Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Senior) for a key client based in Warsaw, Poland.

Typical tasks

• Model business processes, workflows, roles, capabilities and data.
• Gather, analyse, document and track business requirements and user stories.
• Assess existing systems, identify solutions and support feasibility studies.
• Design, validate and optimise business processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Support system development, testing, quality assurance and change management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, manage organisational changes and define transition roadmaps.

Requirements (ALL mandatory)

Education

Experience

• At least 8 years of IT experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

Certification

At least 2 certifications among:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent
• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent

Knowledge and skills

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution.
• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.).
• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.

Specific requirements

• Knows how to develop a Business Architecture and its elements.
• Has experience in the role of Business Analyst in a project(s) aimed at business processes improvement or redesign.
• Has experience in the role of Business Analyst in a project(s) project aimed at analysis, design, implementation and deployment of ICT Solution that enabled (1) content production or (2) reporting tools or (3) analytical tools.
• Has experience working for/at the public sector, preferably in EU Institutions or International organisations.

Language

• Warsaw (near-site): candidates must be based within 2h driving distance from Warsaw.
• The position is mainly remote, but ad-hoc on-site presence might be required (up to 5 days/month).
