Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Functional Consultant for a 2-month hybrid assignment in Warsaw, Poland. You will analyze enterprise applications, document requirements, and coordinate between business and IT teams while supporting UAT and end-user testing.

You will also create user documentation and knowledge base content, maintain SharePoint pages, and ensure deliverables are tracked through to resolution.

Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Start Date: 15th October 2026

End Date: 15th December 2026

Work Style: Hybrid (minimum 2 office days per week)

Role Purpose

Support a key initiative through business analysis, functional testing, User Acceptance Testing, and application support activities. Analyse enterprise application functionality, identify gaps, and assess the impact of functional differences on business processes. Coordinate effectively between business and IT stakeholders to ensure requirements, testing outcomes, and operational issues are understood and progressed. Produce clear, structured documentation and maintain reliable SharePoint and knowledge-base content for users and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis and prepare accurate requirements documentation.
• Compare enterprise application functionality, identify differences, and assess business impacts.
• Prepare and execute functional testing, including defect analysis and business-process validation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and coordinate end-user testing activities.
• Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and knowledge-base content.
• Maintain relevant SharePoint content and ensure documentation remains current and accessible.
• Investigate support tickets and assist with operational application-support activities.
• Facilitate discussions between business and IT teams and take ownership of assigned deliverables.

Tasks

• Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements for the initiative.
• Map relevant processes and compare current and proposed solutions.
• Record functional gaps, business impacts, dependencies, and recommended follow-up actions.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and supporting test data.
• Execute functional tests, document evidence, and support defect triage and retesting.
• Coordinate UAT activities, support end users, and track outcomes through to resolution.
• Review and update user guides, training materials, SharePoint pages, and knowledge articles.
• Investigate support issues and provide clear status updates, decisions, and escalation points.
• Structured gap analysis with documented business impacts.
• Validated business requirements, process documentation, and functional findings.
• Functional testing and UAT materials, evidence, defect records, and outcome tracking.
• Updated user documentation, training materials, SharePoint content, and knowledge articles.
• Clear stakeholder updates and timely resolution or escalation of application-support issues.

Authority / Accountability

• Own assigned analysis, testing, documentation, and support deliverables through to completion.
• Recommend actions based on functional gaps, business impacts, and testing outcomes.
• Coordinate stakeholders and maintain clear progress, issue, and dependency tracking.
• Escalate material defects, delivery risks, unresolved requirements, and decision points promptly.

Requirements

• Senior experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or comparable specialist.
• Strong business-analysis and structured requirements documentation skills.
• Experience comparing enterprise applications and assessing functional gaps and business impacts.
• Experience preparing and executing functional tests, analysing defects, and validating processes.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and end-user testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and confidence facilitating business and IT discussions.
• Experience creating user guides, training materials, SharePoint content, and knowledge articles.
• Application-support experience, including issue investigation and operational support.
• Self-driven and able to work independently and take ownership; Contract Lifecycle Management knowledge is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Fixed-term assignment from 15th October 2026 to 15th December 2026.
• Remote work from outside Poland requires prior approval.
• Successful completion of a regular background verification is required before onboarding.
