Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform validation of securities valuations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established plausibility checks (e.g., representativeness, timeliness, price movements, and proper authorization)
- Select appropriate market data sources and maintain automated pricing feeds; elevate and resolve cases where reliable pricing is unavailable by liaising with relevant governing bodies and updating valuation guidelines accordingly
- Maintain thorough documentation of price validations and adjustments, ensuring daily record‑keeping and proper archiving of supporting materials
- Oversee the accurate valuation of foreign exchange rates and market indices
- Liaise with counterparties to obtain required documentation for alternative investment funds
- Process and record hedge fund transactions, ensuring proper documentation and audit trail of related activities
- Review and respond to internal and external stakeholder queries, providing clear and timely resolutions
- Collaborate closely with Client Service Delivery Management on client‑specific requests, complaints, and operational issues
Your skills and experience:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Initial professional experience in the fund industry and/or securities domain will be considered an advantage
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and financial market mechanisms
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (French or German) are advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Team‑oriented mindset, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach to work
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, take ownership, and work with a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with financial data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is a plus
- Availability to work primarily from the office (80–100% onsite presence)
