Job summary

Universal Investment is seeking a Fund Accounting professional to own the end-to-end NAV process, reconcile positions with banks and counterparties, and ensure robust controls. You will prepare client reporting and analyses, support new fund launches, and participate in lifecycle events such as liquidations and mergers.

Fluent English and a finance/accounting degree are required. The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive collaboration with internal teams, and a detail-oriented, structured approach

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Fund Accounting or similar role.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end NAV process, accurately booking securities, derivatives, corporate actions, and subscription/redemption activities.
• Reconcile positions and movements with banks, prime brokers, and other counterparties, ensuring full transparency and accuracy.
• Perform robust NAV controls in line with internal procedures and quality standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and counterparties, resolving queries and discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to investigate and resolve breaks.
• Ensure timely processing of expenses and invoice payments.
• Prepare client reporting, statistics, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Support new fund launches and migrations, contributing to smooth onboarding.
• Participate in fund lifecycle events, including liquidations and mergers.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a Fund Accounting or similar role
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel
