Job summary

Red Sky Poland is seeking a Robotic Engineer to co-build an early-stage robotics startup. The role focuses on designing, sourcing, and adapting hardware to unlock physical AI automation, working with the Lead Physical AI/Machine Learning Engineer to integrate software and hardware for a scalable product.

You will shape the hardware strategy, drive rapid prototyping, and establish co-development workflows, ensuring safety and data compliance as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in robotics/automation
• 3+ years hands-on hardware design, prototyping, sourcing
• Experience building scalable physical automation platforms
• Entrepreneurial mindset with rapid prototyping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written)
• Degree in automation, robotics or mechatronics
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering
• Ability to write code in dedicated environments

Responsibilities

• Align technical strategy with business goals
• Hands-on development and prototyping of robotics automation
• Integrate Physical AI with hardware to drive automation
• Define tech stack, architecture, and scalability roadmap
• Monitor robotics/AI trends to stay competitive
• Translate customer feedback into robust technical requirements
• Foster code quality, ownership, and rapid iteration
• Establish hardware-software co-development workflows and CI/CD for robotics, including ROS/ROS2 and safety standards
