Job summary

Scatec seeks a Project Developer in Warsaw, Poland to turn renewable energy opportunities into investment-ready projects. You will own development tasks from land rights and local permits to interconnection rights, coordinating with partners and internal teams across Poland.

The role requires a commercial/technical/environmental degree, at least 2 years in wind development in Poland, strong project management, and fluency in Polish and English, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Commercial, technical, legal or environmental university-level degree.
• At least 2 years of wind project development experience in Poland.
• Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with permitting of renewable energy projects in Poland.
• Fluency in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support project development activities including land rights, local permits, and interconnection rights.
• Screen and evaluate new project opportunities for acquisition, greenfield, and/or co-development.
• Manage permitting processes including documentation for environmental decisions, zoning, grid connection, and building permits.
• Engage with local stakeholders across Poland, including authorities and landowners (travel as required).
• Lead internal reports and input to market reviews, strategy, and regulatory analysis for Poland projects.
• Support processes to secure offtake, equity, and debt financing to reach financial close.
