Why this role matters

You will play a key role in turning renewable energy opportunities into investment-ready projects in Poland. Taking ownership across the development cycle, you will help navigate land, permitting, grid connection and stakeholder processes, working across teams to mature utility-scale renewable projects, particularly onshore wind, through to financial close and start of construction.

What you’ll be doing

  • Plan, coordinate, and support project development activities including securing land rights, obtaining required local permits and approvals, and securing interconnection rights from utilities.
  • Screen and evaluate new project opportunities for acquisition, greenfield and/or co-development.
  • Manage permitting process for renewable energy projects, including by preparing documentation required for environmental decisions, zoning approvals, grid connection applications and building permits, in coordination with external consultants, development partners, and internal teams.
  • Engage with local stakeholders, including authorities, advisors, partners, and landowners, with the expectation of necessary travel to project sites throughout Poland.
  • Lead preparation of internal reports and provide input to market reviews, development strategy, and analysis of regulatory issues and policy supports for utility-scale renewable energy projects in Poland.
  • Support the processes to secure offtake agreements, equity and debt finance for projects to reach financial close.

What you’ll gain

  • Real ownership of renewable energy projects, with the opportunity to shape them from early development through to construction readiness.
  • Broad exposure across the project lifecycle, working closely with Business Development, Project Finance, Legal, Offtake, Operations and other specialist teams.
  • Strong local and international collaboration, combining hands-on work in the Polish market with access to wider European and global expertise.
  • Tangible impact, helping turn promising renewable energy opportunities into projects that can move forward and ultimately be built.

What you’ll bring

  • Commercial, technical, legal or environmental university-level degree.
  • At least 2 years of wind project development experience in Poland, ideally from within project developers, independent power producers, or other infrastructure companies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and coordinate with cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience with permitting of renewable energy projects in Poland.
  • Basic knowledge of business fundamentals and financial analysis.
  • Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including presentation software and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel within Poland as required.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Polish and English.
