Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring a ServiceNow Discovery Engineer to join an enterprise-scale Discovery squad. You will design and build AI agents to analyze logs, classify failures, and improve Discovery probes and patterns while ensuring MID Server health, throughput, and coverage.

The role requires hands-on ServiceNow Discovery experience including MID Servers, Patterns/Probes, and CMDB/CSDM data quality. Remote work with flexible hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery including MID Servers, Probes/Patterns, credentials, schedules, Discovery Status, ECC Queue and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing or modifying Discovery Patterns and Probes and understanding how attributes are discovered.
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, CIs, identification/reconciliation, relationships and CMDB data quality.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure engineering with Linux, Windows and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem, including MID Servers, schedules, throughput, latency, failures and coverage.
• Convert runbooks and troubleshooting procedures into structured workflows for the engineering team.
• Collect and interpret metrics/telemetry from Discovery and monitoring platforms to drive improvements.
• Investigate infrastructure attributes and relationships to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
