Job summary

AgileEngine in Poland is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery Engineer to join an enterprise-scale Discovery Engineering squad. You will design AI-enabled agents to analyze Discovery logs, classify failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions while ensuring testing guardrails and approvals.

The role requires 4+ years hands-on ServiceNow Discovery experience (MID Servers, Patterns/Probes, CMDB/CSDM) and familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow Discovery for 4+ years including MID Servers, Patterns/Probes, credentials, schedules, Discovery Status, ECC Queue, and troubleshooting failures.
• Experience developing or modifying ServiceNow Discovery Patterns and Probes and understanding how infrastructure attributes and relationships are discovered.
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, CIs, identification/reconciliation, relationships, and CMDB data quality.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents that analyze Discovery logs, results, errors, and failed discoveries at scale.
• Develop agents to classify failures, troubleshoot root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Create capabilities to analyze and propose corrections to Discovery probes and patterns with testing guardrails and human approvals.
• Convert runbooks and troubleshooting procedures into reusable agentic workflows to improve Discovery reliability.
• Design agents to monitor health of MID Servers, schedules, throughput, latency, failures, and coverage.
• Develop agents to collect and interpret metrics from Discovery, MID Servers, logs and monitoring tools.
