Job summary

Alianza Logistics is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional for road freight in Poland. The role is 100% remote, full-time, and long-term, focusing on developing relationships with clients and carriers and expanding business within the Polish transport sector.

You will identify new opportunities, negotiate rates with subcontracted carriers, and coordinate with our operations structure, leveraging industry exchanges like Wtransnet and TIMOCOM to source providers and maximize

Qualifications

Experience in road freight, freight forwarding, transport agencies or logistics companies in Poland.
Strong commercial profile and experience in business development within the transport sector.
Active professional relationships with clients and/or carriers.
Experience in subcontracting transport and rate negotiation.
Knowledge of Wtransnet, TIMOCOM or other freight exchanges.
Ability to work independently with a results-oriented mindset.
English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand business relationships with clients and carriers.
Identify new business opportunities within road freight.
Manage and negotiate transport operations using subcontracted carriers.
Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
Use Wtransnet, TIMOCOM and other freight exchanges to identify opportunities and transport providers.
Negotiate rates and monitor profitability.
