Job summary

CHILD CARE INNOVATIONS is seeking an Early Childhood Workforce Specialist in Lakewood, CO to advance workforce development and ensure high-quality early childhood education. You will collaborate with professionals, manage data, and support participants toward employment and learning goals.

You will lead on-site visits, assist with skill-building, and represent the organization at meetings and community events, promoting programming and equitable access to services.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• Director’s Certificate or 3+ years working as a Licensed Family Child Care Provider required.
• 2+ years working with early learning providers required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education or Workforce Development preferred.
• Director’s Certificate or 3+ years working as a Licensed Family Child Care Provider and Early Childhood Trainer Credential preferred.
• Experience in diverse communities and with underrepresented groups preferred.
• 3+ years working with early learning providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on site visits with professionals to support on the job learning, education, and quality improvement related to workforce initiatives.
• Assist participants in obtaining the skills and knowledge necessary for employment.
• Collaborate with staff to support participants in completion of set goals.
• Attend meetings and community events related to workforce development.
• Represent the organization and provide information about programming.
• Take in information to inform resource development and revisions to programming.
• Facilitate meetings to generate interest and recruit participants.
• Perform other duties to support access to high quality early childhood services.

Education
