Job summary

Rockstar is hiring a full-time Payroll & Accounting Virtual Assistant to support a therapist-owned physical therapy group operating across multiple affiliate organizations. This remote role focuses on payroll processing and monthly/quarterly/annual closings for 19 affiliates across six states.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, able to work independently after training, and committed to accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
• Genuine desire to learn and grow within the role.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight after training.
• Discreet in handling sensitive employee information.
• Competent with Microsoft Office products.
• Comfortable learning new software as needed.
• Team player, willing to jump in and contribute wherever needed.
• Comfortable presenting and interacting with peers.

Responsibilities

• Assist payroll processing for 19 affiliate organizations across 6 states.
• Review timesheets and hours for accuracy prior to payroll submission.
• Support payroll setup for new hires and processing for terminations.
• Help track payroll deductions, benefits contributions, and adjustments as directed.
• Respond to basic payroll questions from affiliate contacts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reconciliations across affiliates.
• Maintain records of vendor and customer transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
