Qualifications

• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare insurance terminology and workflow.
• Proficient in navigating payer websites, portals, and verification tools.
• Able to work full-time MST hours.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits across a variety of payers and plans.
• Obtain prior authorizations and referrals as required by insurance.
• Accurately update patient insurance records within the EMR (WebPT).
• Communicate effectively with patients and internal teams to clarify insurance requirements.
• Proactively follow up on pending verifications or authorization requests.
• Flag and report issues that may affect patient scheduling or treatment approval.
• Support insurance documentation and maintain organized digital records.
• Collaborate via Microsoft Teams with onsite and remote administrative staff.
