Job summary

Virtual Rockstar is seeking a QuickBooks Online Specialist to join our client, a growing home medical equipment provider, as a full-time remote assistant. You will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and generate standard financial reports with day-one proficiency in QBO.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, organized, and experienced with multi-entity bookkeeping, GAAP, and Excel for supplemental reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven QuickBooks Online experience with day-one proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience posting, reconciling, and reporting across multi-account setups.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile debits/credits across accounts daily/weekly/monthly.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Code expenses and maintain Chart of Accounts; run standard reports.
• Process AP/AR, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close.
• Assist with 1099 prep and year-end tasks as directed.
• Generate P&L by class, Balance Sheet, and aging reports.
