Job summary

Zeely AI is seeking a proactive Payment Operations Specialist to own the payment infrastructure, billing operations, and optimization across SaaS and subscription models. You will collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, and Engineering to enhance acceptance rates, manage providers, and ensure smooth recurring payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Payment Operations, Payments Management, or Billing Operations.
• Strong understanding of the online payment lifecycle, card processing, and billing systems.
• Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms (Solidgate is a plus).
• Experience with recurring payments and subscription-based business models.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL knowledge is considered a plus.
• High level of ownership, proactivity, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable operation of the payment infrastructure and maintain high payment processing quality.
• Work with the payment orchestration platform and support its effective configuration.
• Manage the implementation of new payment methods, providers, and payment configurations.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with payment providers, acquiring banks, and other vendors.
• Coordinate the resolution of operational issues, incidents, and payment processing problems.
• Drive and support initiatives to improve payment performance; monitor provider performance.
