Job summary
A growing financial technology startup in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Software Engineer for its Payment Operations team. You will design and develop systems for transaction accuracy, monitor funding health, and improve operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of software engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with RESTful APIs. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role with exposure to payment systems.
- Strong SQL skills, comfortable with standalone scripts and AI tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship internal systems and automation.
- Build and maintain reconciliation infrastructure.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems for funding health.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Finance for operational improvements.
- Contribute to engineering culture through knowledge sharing and code reviews.
