Infinit-O is a remote-friendly leader in business process optimization with a people-first culture. The Patient Services Representative will handle patient calls, transcribe voicemails, and process payments within client systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate records.

The role requires at least one year of inbound customer service experience in the U.S. medical billing area, plus excellent English communication and keen attention to detail.

Qualificações

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year inbound customer service experience, preferably in the U.S. medical billing.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Handle patient calls related to their outstanding balances.
• Transcribe voicemails from patients and return the patients' messages.
• Facilitate payments utilizing client software application.
• Review all records and make necessary financial responsibility transfers.
• Check patient eligibility through insurance online website.
• Make payment plan arrangements for patients experiencing financial difficulty, and small balance write-off based on client guidelines.
• Escalate issues/concerns that cannot be resolved to Team Lead and/or Client.
• Stay up to date with changes that affect client’s reimbursements.
• Understand how the medical insurance industry works.
• Thoroughly note all encounters/accounts worked.
• Maintain HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
