You will own verification and prior authorization workflows, liaising with front office, billing, and clinical staff, maintaining EMR records, and helping prevent delays, denials, and revenue loss.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical insurance verification or prior authorization.
• Strong understanding of insurance terms, eligibility, and payers.
• Ability to explain benefits to staff and patients.
• Experience with payer communication via phone/portals.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.

• Document patient financial responsibility 24 hours before arrival.
