Western Security is seeking a reliable Medical Transportation Coordinator for a remote role that manages non-emergency transportation for patients. You will schedule trips, liaise with patients, drivers, and healthcare facilities, and ensure rides are safe and timely.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience in scheduling, dispatching, or healthcare customer service, with strong communication and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, dispatching, transportation, healthcare, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using scheduling software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient transportation and appointments.
• Assign trips to drivers and vehicles.
• Communicate with patients, drivers, facilities, and caregivers.
• Confirm pickup/drop-off locations and times.
• Monitor schedules and address delays or changes.
• Maintain trip, patient, and driver records.
• Respond to transportation requests professionally.
• Help ensure compliance with safety and procedures.
• Coordinate daily transportation activities and resolve conflicts.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and partners.
