Job summary

Red Sky is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics & Computer Vision) to join our founding technical team. You will own the product's ML core and shape its technical direction as the company scales with the CTO and Co‑founder.

You will build the MVP AI/ML components, design architectures, write custom training loops in PyTorch, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle from data processing to edge deployment while mentoring growing AI/ML talent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years end-to-end deep learning experience: data processing, architecture design, training from scratch, and fine-tuning.
• Proficient in modern DL tools (PyTorch) with custom data loaders and loss functions.
• Computer Vision expertise: CNNs, ViTs, object detection, and segmentation.
• Solid software engineering foundation: production-ready ML components.
• Startup mindset: fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment with rapid execution.
• Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Own the AI/ML core of the product, aligning it with the technical strategy.
• Write custom training loops and design neural network architectures.
• Manage end-to-end ML lifecycle from data processing to edge deployment.
• Build ML components of the MVP and mentor engineers joining the team.
• Translate customer feedback into robust ML requirements.
• Monitor trends in AI/CV/robotics to maintain a competitive edge.
• Foster code quality, ownership, and rapid iteration.
