Red Sky is seeking a Project Manager to co-build a robotics startup focused on physical AI automation. You will join with the commercial co-founder as a core leadership team member and lead hands-on hardware design, prototyping, and integration with intelligent software.

This founder-level role emphasizes rapid prototyping, hardware-software co-development, and scalable architecture from the ground up, with the aim to turn bold ideas into a functional product and a high-performing engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership in automation projects or robotics.
• 5+ years hands-on robotics engineering focusing hardware (mechatronics, sensors, embedded systems, control).
• Strong background in hardware and robotics engineering with scalable physical automation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset—pragmatic execution and rapid prototyping.
• Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Technical co-managing the company with the commercial co-founder and aligning technical strategy with business goals.
• Hands-on development & prototyping: Architecting and building the MVP of the robotics automation solutions, integrating Physical AI with hardware.
• Leveraging Physical AI models to drive process automation in real-world hardware environments.
• Defining the tech stack, software/hardware architecture, and product scalability roadmap.
• Monitoring robotics, AI, and automation trends to maintain a competitive edge.
• Recruiting, leading, and mentoring a small agile team of robotics engineers and specialists.
• Translating customer feedback and market needs into robust technical requirements.
• Fostering an internal culture focused on code quality, ownership, and rapid iteration.
• Establishing hardware-software co-development workflows, CI/CD pipelines for robotics, and robust safety and data compliance.
