Job summary

Appfire Technologies, Inc. is seeking a full-time IT Support Engineer to join a global IT Operations team. You will handle L1/L2 support, onboarding laptops, and maintaining the corporate IT infrastructure across Windows, macOS, and cloud platforms from a Warsaw-based role with remote options within Poland.

You will work with a distributed team to manage security, backups, and network services, while contributing to KB articles and process improvements. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience providing L1/L2 support via a ticketing system.
• 2+ years' hands-on laptop support on macOS and Windows.
• 1+ years' application support for Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
• Good written and spoken English, strong communication.
• Experience with shell scripting or CLI tools.
• Experience with Atlassian products an advantage.
• Experience with public cloud technologies – AWS, GCP, Azure.
• 1+ years Linux system administration experience.
• 1+ years network administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide occasional L2 ticket-based support for employees on internal server and cloud apps.
• Manage onboarding, laptops, MDM, encryption, and antivirus installations.
• Maintain office network infrastructure and coordinate with ISPs for resolutions.
• Monitor applications and systems with alerts to ensure health.
• Monitor scheduled jobs to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain configurations on routers, firewalls, switches, and IP telephony.
• Resolve IT infrastructure issues and maintain systems.
• Ensure domain registrations, SSL certificates, and product licensing are current.
• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and consolidate applications.
• Develop knowledge of systems and best practices; write KB articles.
