Job summary

Westlake Flooring Services is seeking a Regional Manager to lead our automotive floorplan services team across the Great Lakes region. You will drive sales growth, manage a field team, and build strong dealer partnerships from a home-office base in Detroit, MI.

You will coach Area Managers, hire/train staff, and travel up to 75% to visit auto dealers, while shaping regional strategy and ensuring exceptional service and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales software applications.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers.
• Manage outside sales within the region and assist hiring/training new area managers.
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and project contacts.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts as assigned.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain client relationships.
• Manage Area Managers through quality checks and follow-up.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare status reports (activity, closings, follow-up, goals).
• Communicate new product/service opportunities to staff.
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce dealer attrition.
• Participate in marketing events and travel as required.
