Job summary

Jit Team in Poland offers a hybrid role based in Gdańsk or Warszawa, with 3 days per week in the office. You will be involved in a financial project focusing on production operations, application support, incident and problem management, and ensuring the stability and reliability of production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support (2nd/3rd line), or a similar production-facing role.
• Proven experience in end-to-end incident management, including RCA and preventive actions.
• 2+ years of experience working within an ITIL framework.
• Experience working in Agile environments with development teams.
• C1 level of English.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Splunk, Sysdig, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Operational experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Basic Bash and Python scripting skills.
• Experience with Oracle and DB2 databases.
• Working knowledge of ETL applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems and Kafka.
• Java/development background for understanding solutions and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the incident and RCA process, from issue detection through resolution to preventive actions.
• Monitor production services, identify anomalies, and respond to potential issues
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
• Ensure Pre-Production and Production environments remain stable and aligned
• Create and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge documentation
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operational processes
• Identify recurring issues and implement automation to reduce manual effort
• Improve observability through dashboards, alerts, and log analysis
• Support service continuity initiatives and disaster recovery exercises
