Optiveum is assisting a client in the banking sector by hiring a Senior IT Operations Engineer. The role is hybrid, located in Warszawa or Gdańsk, with an initial October 2026 to February 2027 period at full-time (40h/week) and potential extension.

The contractor will lead incident management, CI/CD automation, and collaboration with engineering teams. Key requirements include 5+ years in IT operations, ITIL experience, strong Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tool proficiency, plus

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, production support, or similar.
• Proven track record of owning incidents end-to-end, from alert through RCA to prevention.

Mansioni

• Own the incident and problem management process for production incidents: diagnose and resolve issues, run root cause analysis, and put preventive measures in place so problems don't recur.
• Continuously monitor service health, detect anomalies early, and act before they turn into incidents.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• Keep Pre-Production and Production environments stable, aligned, and behaving as expected day to day.
• Document operational procedures, known issues, and resolution steps to build a reliable knowledge base for the team.
• Work closely with development and platform teams to triage issues, clarify operational requirements, and close the feedback loop between production and development.
