Job summary

ITConnect is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to support production deployments and build robust automation for our environments in Poland. You will manage on‑prem Kubernetes, help migrate to cloud, and drive CI/CD improvements across development, test, and production systems.

The role requires strong Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, and Git skills, plus excellent English communication. This is a hybrid role with preference for Gdańsk/Gdynia or Warsaw-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and running applications in production environments.
• Proficiency with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible; Python and shell scripting are valued.
• Experience with on-prem Kubernetes and migration to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and running applications in production environments.
• Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining development, test, and production environments.
• Contributing to automation of build, release, deployment, and production operations.
• Supporting onboarding and migration of applications to an on-prem Kubernetes platform with future cloud transitions.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Developing and maintaining Python and shell scripts to automate tasks.
• Troubleshooting issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to improve performance, availability, and scalability.
• Managing source code, configuration files, and automation scripts with Git.
• Supporting incident analysis, root cause investigations, and preventive measures.

• Providing feedback to the team on production instabilities, incidents, and potential areas for improvement.
