Job summary

Lufthansa Group in Kraków is seeking a procurement specialist to blend hands-on procurement execution with stakeholder support and process ownership. You will drive cost efficiency, ensure timely deliveries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities include handling requisitions, PO processing, supplier inquiries, and maintaining procurement records while aligning with service levels.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree or third-year student in any discipline.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Procurement.
• English and German at least B2.
• Good command of MS Office and procurement related tools.
• CV/Resume required and permit to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Support suppliers and internal stakeholders by resolving routine issues related to deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and product availability.
• Execute procurement activities including requisition validation, PO processing, and goods receipt booking.
• Handle inquiries via email and phone with professional communication.
• Identify risks, perform error analysis, and support escalation resolutions.
• Initiate vendor creation and updates while maintaining procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services per agreed SLAs.
• Apply procurement procedures and contribute to process improvements as SME for assigned processes.
• Support reporting, statistics and workshops; perform other duties as assigned.

Tasks

In this position, you will combine hands‑on procurement execution with stakeholder support, process improvement, and close collaboration across the business

• Support suppliers and internal stakeholders by resolving routine issues related to deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and product availability
• Execute procurement activities, including purchase requisition validation, shopping cart creation, purchase order processing, order adjustments, and goods receipt booking
• Handle inquiries via email and phone, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Identify potential risks, perform error analysis, and support the resolution of escalations
• Initiate vendor creation and updates while maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
• Ensure high‑quality and timely delivery of services in line with agreed service levels
• Apply procurement procedures, contribute to process improvements, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes
• Support operational activities such as reporting, statistics, workshops
• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines
