Role Summary
The Portfolio Manager owns portfolio governance and portfolio management for the organization: turning the capabilities of Delivery, the Partnership team and the architects into described, classified and reusable offering items (Portfolio Items), complete with marketing materials, technical blueprints and estimation models. This shortens the time sales needs to put an offer in front of a client, directs investment towards what sells, and – in a semi-annual cycle – removes from the portfolio what does not.

- Define and evolve portfolio offerings, value propositions, and go-to-market positioning.
- Align Sales, Delivery, Architecture, and Partnerships around portfolio priorities and capabilities.
- Create and maintain portfolio assets, pricing frameworks, and sales enablement materials.
- Support strategic client opportunities and ensure effective portfolio adoption across the business.
- Analyze portfolio performance and drive investment, scaling, optimization, or retirement decisions.
- Provide portfolio insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Management Board.
- Minimum 5 years in portfolio / product management, presales, GTM or consulting in IT services, including work on the offering side (not delivery only).
- Experience in driving a process across an organization without line authority (governance, influence, escalation).
- Experience in structuring an area from scratch – at the start, the portfolio is neither described nor classified.

- University degree: technical, economics or management. A technical profile or a dual business + IT profile is preferred.
- Understanding of commercial models in IT services: T&M, fixed price, managed services, subscription, licence resale.
