Job summary

Us3 Consulting seeks an experienced PMO / Cybersecurity Project Management Specialist to support strategic and complex programmes in cybersecurity environments. PMO / Cybersecurity Project Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PMO / Project Management professional to support strategic and complex programmes within a cybersecurity, information security or cyber risk environment.

You will work closely with Project and Programme Managers, senior stakeholders and international teams to ensure effective governance, reporting, delivery tracking and project administration. The role combines hands-on PMO delivery with stakeholder management, process improvement and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic and complex programmes/projects with status tracking, milestone management, reporting and governance.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards, steering committee materials and management reports.
• Support Project/Programme Managers with budgeting, financial reporting and project administration.
• Establish and maintain project structures, documentation, communication channels and collaboration environments.
• Ensure project deliverables, documentation, risks and actions are tracked and reported accurately and on time.
• Maintain project information within PPM and project management tools.
• Apply PMO standards, methodologies, processes and governance requirements.
• Review existing processes and solutions, identify improvements and support internal governance/audit activities.
• Assess project management maturity and recommend improvements where required.
• Support onboarding, training and other activities that improve project management quality.
• Ensure projects follow organisational standards and that services/deliverables are formally accepted.

Essential skills & experience

• 4+ years of practical experience in PMO, Project Management or a comparable role, ideally within an IT environment.
• Proven experience supporting projects/programmes in cybersecurity, information security or cyber risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior/executive stakeholders.
• Experience producing management dashboards, steering committee materials and project reporting.
• Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Ability to take full ownership of assigned topics and deliverables.
• Experience working across international teams, businesses and cultures.
• Fluent English at C1 level or above.
• Proficiency with relevant PMO and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Confluence and PPM tools.

Preferred skills

• Experience establishing PMO/project structures from scratch.
• Knowledge of IT governance, project management standards and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with project financial management, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience conducting project management maturity assessments, internal reviews or audits.
• Experience improving PMO processes, methodologies and governance.
• Experience delivering training or onboarding new project resources.
• Strong ability to quickly learn new tools, processes and areas of expertise.
