Job summary

Wilhelmsen group in Szczecin seeks an Accounts Payable specialist to support daily transactional processing and drive process improvements.

You will work in a multinational SSC/BPO style environment, ensure accuracy, and communicate in English. Rewards include private medical care, Multisport, vacation allowance, cinema tickets, prepaid cards, and social events.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience in Accounts Payable in SSC/BPO is advantageous.
• Economics/finance-related education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verifying supplier accounts and reconciling monthly statements.
• Responding to queries and resolving issues in transaction handling.
• Ensuring daily operations meet KPIs and deadlines.
• Maintaining process documentation and driving improvements.
• Executing timely and accurate payments according to policies.
• Reviewing monthly reconciliations and performing month-end tasks.

Support us with:

• Verifying supplier accounts by reconciling supplier monthly statements
• Responding to queries and resolving any issues during the transaction handling
• Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadlines
• Ensuring best practice across all accounts receivable tasks by maintaining current process documentation (i.e. visio, WI, guidelines) and taking part in process improvements
• Executing payment on a timely manner and accurately as per KPI and in compliance with service level agreements, company policies, procedures and controls
• Reviewing monthly reconciliation and performing month end tasks

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Skills in providing quality data, structuring and organizing you daily work
• Attentive to detail and deadlines
• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable payments environment within an organization or SSC/BPO environment is advantageous
• Education related to economics, finance or similar will be advantageous
