Job summary

Wilhelmsen Group in Szczecin is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy of financial data and support statutory statements. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, drive improvements, and contribute to group reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency in an international environment. Hybrid work model with office and home days is available.

Qualifications

2–3 years of general accounting experience.
Experience with end-to-end GL, financial audits or reporting.
Good command of English in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Calculate and post general ledger entries e.g. deferred income tax, accruals, provisions.
Provide Group and statutory reporting (BS, P&L statements and other required).
Support transitions projects, initiate improvements.
Maintain fixed assets subledger and perform postings.
Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare statutory financial statement.
Perform GL accounts and BS reconciliation.
Prepare VAT and Tax declaration.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Wilhelmsen Business Service Center (WBSC) in Szczecin. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns. What you will own and manage in your day-to-day work at Wilhelmsen:
