Job summary

Inteva Products in Opole, Poland, is seeking a Packaging Management Specialist (Supply Chain) to oversee the flow of returnable packaging between customers, suppliers and warehouses. You will monitor packaging inventory, plan availability, coordinate transportation for empty packaging, and analyze turnover, utilization and losses, driving corrective actions and improvements.

Strong Excel skills, ERP experience (SAP), and 3+ years in logistics are required, with English, Polish or German language

Packaging Management Specialist (Supply Chain)

Description

Your Responsibilities

Manage the flow of returnable packaging between customers, suppliers, and warehouses.

Monitor packaging inventory levels and plan packaging availability.

Coordinate transportation related to the movement of empty packaging.

Analyze packaging turnover, utilization, and losses, and initiate corrective actions.

Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding packaging requirements.

Create and update packing instructions and logistics standards.

Supervise packaging records in ERP systems, databases, and customer portals.

Prepare reports, analyses, and KPI metrics related to packaging management.

Participate in logistics audits and optimization projects.

Support the implementation of new projects and production launches with regard to packaging requirements.

Ensure compliance of processes with customer requirements, quality standards, and sustainability principles.

Cooperate closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Planning departments.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics field.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Good command of English, Polish or German- written and spoken.

Highly developed communication skills, including collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Proactive and flexible approach to work.

Willingness to take initiative and assume a leading role in situations requiring a quick response.

Ability to implement and develop optimization initiatives.

• Position Requirements: Required - BS or BA Technical or Business or equivalent experience
• Required - Experience in SAP
• Required - Experience in PC&L operations for at least 2 years. Candidate would have knowledge of transportation industry and LLP's including both regular modes of transportation as well as expedited methods.
• Required - Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles including Lean, Inteva Manufacturing System.
• Required - Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
