Job summary

Inteva Products - Opole Operations in Opole, Poland seeks a Quality professional to drive supplier quality, APQP, FMEA, and process improvements. You will manage supplier complaints, coordinate corrective actions, and work closely with Purchasing, Production, and R&D to meet quality targets.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering with automotive QA experience, knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, and strong teamwork. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • ASQ CQA certification preferred or actively pursuing.
  • 3+ years in a Quality role in automotive industry preferred.
  • Experience with ISO/TS 16949 auditing preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and data-driven improvement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop supervision plans and methods for supplier deliveries.
  • Define the scope of incoming inspection based on data.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
  • Issue supplier complaints in SQTS database and monitor actions.
  • Prepare monthly quantity settlement reports for suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and R&D departments.
  • Work with drawings and specifications to ensure quality.

Job description

Developing supervision plans and methods for supplier deliveries.

Defining the scope of incoming inspection based on collected data.

Ongoing cooperation with suppliers.

Issuing supplier complaints in the SQTS database.

Analyzing supplier complaints and monitoring corrective actions.

Preparing monthly quantity settlement reports for suppliers.

Cooperating with Purchasing, Production, and R&D departments.

Working with technical drawings and specifications.

Driving long-term improvements in supplier quality and process stability, including leading corrective action plans and supplier development programs.

Our Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Department within the automotive industry.

Master's degree in a technical field.

Fluent in Polish

Practical knowledge of APQP.

Knowledge and understanding of core quality tools such as FMEA, PDCA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, etc.

Ability to define and coordinate corrective and preventive action plans.

Well-developed interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Position Requirements BS degree in an Engineering field or related technical discipline and/or ASQ certification as Quality Engineer, preferred. ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor or actively pursuing CQA certificate, preferred.
  • Three + years of experience required
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated closure systems and cockpit manufacturing, assembly, test, and special processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with specifications ISO / TS 16949.
  • An understanding of use and application of statistical quality assurance methods.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, top management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and techniques as applied toICS and CIS quality and manufacturing functions.
  • Ability to use standard business software applications and/or specialized data analysis tools.
  • Quality/Supplier Quality, Product Development experience
  • International supplier experience preferred
  • Project management
  • PPAP, APQP, FMEA
  • ISO/TS 16949 auditor certification preferred
  • Strong Leadership abilities.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently.
