Job summary

Techland in Wrocław seeks a Lighting Artist to craft immersive environments and cinematic moments for open world titles. You will design lighting for day/night cycles, weather, and cutscenes, shaping mood and readability across platforms.

Join a collaborative team, contribute to lighting pipelines, and push technical and artistic boundaries at a studio known for iconic franchises. English proficiency required; Polish language a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating lighting for at least one shipped game with portfolio.
• Experience across the full production lifecycle with focus on launch.
• Strong artistic sense with good color and composition.

Responsibilities

• Light indoor and outdoor locations for open world games across day/night cycles.
• Light gameplay and real-time cutscenes with proper technical execution and readability.
• Optimize lighting across platforms and align with pipelines.
• Test and provide feedback to lighting pipelines and technology.
• Brainstorm and plan lighting for various content.
• Work with proprietary editor, C-Engine.
• Collaborate with Lighting Team, Lead Lighting Artist and Art Director.
