Job summary

Techland is seeking a talented and experienced Level Artist to join our teams in Wrocław or Warsaw. You will help create immersive environments players explore and admire, shaping locations with lighting, geometry, and art direction.

We require at least 3 years in level design or lighting, at least one shipped AAA title, and very good English. Passion for games, strong teamwork, and the ability to express ideas through sketches are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in level design or lighting for video games.
• At least one shipped AAA title.
• Very good command of English.
• Passion for games and knowledge of the gaming industry from the player’s perspective.
• Ability to express ideas verbally and through quick sketches.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D suites like Photoshop, 3DS Max or Blender.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ideas and plans for locations/levels.
• Set rough geometry of locations (terrain, buildings, interiors).
• Finish locations and cutscenes with existing assets.
• Light locations and cutscenes to enhance mood and gameplay.
• Optimize locations for performance and visuals.
• Collaborate with Level Designers, Concept Artists and 2D/3D Artists.
• Work with a proprietary editor and own part of the environment.
