Job summary

Siemens Gamesa seeks an Operational Support Manager for offshore wind construction projects. You will provide 24/7 hands-on technical and operational support across preassembly, installation, and commissioning, guiding site teams through complex challenges and ensuring safety and continuity.

The role requires a strong wind turbine systems background, construction/commissioning experience, and the ability to work independently with proactive knowledge transfer to teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in wind turbine construction, commissioning or technical support.
• Strong technical foundation in wind turbine systems and construction/commissioning.
• Ability to troubleshoot and transfer knowledge to site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 operational support for WTGs and act as central technical expert.
• Guide site mobilization across preassembly, installation and commissioning.
• Offer technical guidance on turbine interfaces and systems to ensure safe operations.
• Contribute to root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure adherence to standards on site.
• Support development and rollout of new processes and standards.
