Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking an Operational Support Manager within the Construction Solution Center to provide 24/7 technical and operational support for global offshore wind turbine construction projects. You will help ensure business continuity, mitigate risks, and maintain high-performance site execution standards during preassembly, installation, and commissioning.

The role requires troubleshooting, independent work under supervision, and a focus on knowledge transfer and process improvement,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in wind turbine construction, commissioning, or related technical support roles.
Experience with rotating shifts or on-call duty schedules is highly beneficial for 24/7 support.
Technical & Operational Expertise: Wind Turbine Systems, Construction & Commissioning Processes, Troubleshooting, Quality Assurance, Analytical Skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 operational support for wind turbine generators (WTGs).
Support site mobilization activities across PREA, INS, and COM phases.
Provide technical guidance on turbine interfaces and systems (e.g., software, hydraulics).
Support deviation investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure alignment with defined standards across construction sites.
Develop and promote new processes, updates, and standards.
Share turbine knowledge with site teams (TFA, TES, CT-C).
Facilitate communication between site operations and CNS for transparency.
Contribute to field knowledge reviews and SAT participation.
