Job summary

Remote is seeking a Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions to manage offboarding for Remote's external employees with a focus on legal compliance and delightful service. You’ll provide first-level Employee Relations support and guide clients through workplace concerns while coordinating resources.

You’ll be part of a larger Lifecycle team, contributing to process improvements aligned with Remote's goals and values, in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle.
• Proven experience with voluntary and involuntary exits, with care, compliance and HR guidance across jurisdictions.
• Ability to interpret industrial instruments, analyze HR issues, and communicate recommendations.
• Basic understanding of employee relations principles and progressive discipline approaches.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple jurisdictions, prioritizing a high-quality offboarding experience.
• Provide HR guidance on termination, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes.
• Lead meetings with clients and external employees, including terminations and settlements guidance.
• Coordinate with payroll, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant offboarding and record-keeping.
• Represent Lifecycle processes and contribute to improvement initiatives and automation.
• Respond to inquiries on offboarding matters and navigate HR resources for clients.
