Job summary

Outokumpu Oyj is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to help build and develop our Network Operations Center (NOC) function. You will support tools, processes, and automation, monitor network infrastructure, and coordinate with internal teams and partners to resolve incidents.

Responsibilities include transitioning services from external providers, root cause analysis, and driving service improvements. Candidates with ITIL foundation and relevant certifications are favored, and you will mentor

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in a Network Operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Next-Generation Firewalls, and DHCP.
  • Understanding of related infrastructure technologies (e.g., servers, cloud platforms).
  • Experience with network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba, Palo Alto, EfficientIP) are an advantage.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve efficiency, including exploring AI opportunities in NOC operations.
  • Support and coach junior NOC engineers.
