Job summary

GN Group's IT organization in Warsaw is looking for an IT Network Operation Specialist to monitor, secure and support the global infrastructure. You will ensure performance and reliability of core and cloud network services across EMEA, with on-call rotations and close collaboration with Enterprise Platforms & Cybersecurity.

The role requires at least 3 years in network operations and hands-on experience with Cisco DNA, SD‑WAN, ISE, WIFI and Checkpoint firewalls, plus familiarity with SolarWinds

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of network infrastructure operations experience.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with core/network security controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability; address issues to prevent disruptions.
• Respond to incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Patch and upgrade network infrastructure per vendor best practices.
• Handle standard service requests for day-to-day needs.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infra projects, upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in rotational on-call schedule for 24/7 support.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Job Overview

At GN’s Digital, Data & Information Technology organization, we are hiring an IT Network Operation Specialist to support and secure the technology behind our global infrastructure. Located in Warsaw, Poland, the successful candidate will work within the Enterprise Platforms & Cybersecurity (EP&C) domain, ensuring the performance and reliability of our core and cloud network services across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance and availability of the network infrastructure, identifying and addressing issues swiftly to prevent disruptions.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure all network infrastructure is patched and upgraded according to vendor best practice.
• Handle standard service requests and support business day‑to‑day requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
• Participate in a rotational on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 after‑hours support, keeping all systems monitored and maintained.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in collaboration with core and cloud network teams to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network infrastructure operations.
• Experience with Cisco DNA, SD‑WAN, ISE, WIFI, and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with CATO, Aviatrix, or Cloudflare is beneficial.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Datadog is beneficial.
