Job summary

Dexian Europe is seeking an experienced network operations professional to manage the lifecycle of production network platforms across global POPs, data centers, and backbone infrastructure. You will plan, coordinate and execute fleet-wide upgrade initiatives, lead infrastructure rollouts, and operate a dedicated lab to validate hardware and automation tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a production network environment with focus on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or similar vendors.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including change operations and production rollout procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution.

• Support lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and operating system versions across global POPs, data centers, and backbone infrastructure.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives, including device qualification, upgrade readiness checks, rollout sequencing, execution support, and post-upgrade validation.
• Lead and execute infrastructure rollout efforts across global POPs, data centers, and the backbone network.
• Operate a dedicated lab and test environment to validate hardware platforms, configurations, and automation tooling.
• Partner with network engineers and vendors to investigate platform issues, manage support escalations, track defects, and document resolution paths.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support network scalability, compliance, and operational consistency.
• Contribute to runbooks, process documentation, and operational procedures for network changes and lifecycle management activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a production network environment with a focus on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or similar vendors.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing network change operations, software upgrades, maintenance windows, and production rollout procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail in structured change workflows.
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Scripting ability in Python or a similar language.
• Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Familiarity with observability, telemetry, alerting, and operational dashboards for network infrastructure.
• Experience improving operational processes by reducing manual steps, standardizing workflows, and increasing repeatability.
