Job summary

Coforge in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Mid Level Accounts Payable Controller to manage day-to-day invoice checks, data input, and supplier communications in line with company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, solid Excel skills, and at least one year of relevant experience; you will contribute to monthly close, reconciliations, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Good English language skills (Intermediate or above).
• More than 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Check invoices from suppliers and input data.
• Completes tasks strictly in accordance with instructions for assigned area of responsibility.
• Communicate with suppliers in proper business style and professional manner.
• Timely preparation of assigned reconciliations with suppliers.
• Resolve queries on suppliers’ complaints, reminders, invoice status or any other requests.
• Approve creditors information details at the creditor DB.
• Provide timely and accurate information to Destination office on invoices payment status.
• Carry out back-up tasks for an absent colleague as specified in department back-up plan.
• Weekly reports on work progress.
• Complete monthly close activities and reports in accordance with monthly close schedules.
• Keep information confidential.
• Prepare certain statistical reports upon request.
• Other current tasks assigned by Client Tumlare/JTBE AP Supervisor.
• Evaluate the importance of the requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Cope with a big volume of work during high season and year closure activities.
• Stay focused with high level of accuracy on tasks which are cognitively simple and repetitive.
